Q: What is the weight limit of the JIVE2 Second Seat?
A: The newly designed JIVE2 Second Seat can now hold up to 17kg.
Q: Do you have capsule adaptors available for the JIVE2 to enable a travel system?
A: Yes, we sell capsule adaptors for Maxi-Cosi (Mico, Mico AP and Citi from 2013) as well as the Joie i-Gemm and Nuna Pipa capsules. We also have adaptors that are compatible with Britax Unity Neos and Unity Isofix produced from 2013 onwards (which can be identified by a sticker on the underside of the capsule showing ‘2013STD’ and also have pre-installed ‘click and go adaptors’). Please note that models produced earlier than 2013 and Steelcraft capsules are not compatible. The Britax adaptors are the same adaptors that you receive with your Redsbaby bassinet; however, they are also available for individual sale on our website. Adaptors are available in the METRO2 / JIVE2 range of accessories.
Q: Can I use this Second Seat Conversion Kit on my 2016/2017 JIVE?
A: Yes. The 2018 Second Seat Conversion Kit is compatible* with 2016/2017 JIVE models, however, there will be fabric and colour variations.
To check for compatibility, check the batch code on your JIVE (located on the chassis between the two rear wheels. If your batch code is 15RBJ01T, 15RBJ01, 15RBJ02, 15RBJ03, 15JI01, 15JI02 or 15JI03, you will need to purchase* a set of rear foam-filled wheels (subsidised cost of $79.95 – full RRP $119.95).
The replacement foam-filled wheels are narrower than the original air wheels that came with your pram, allowing the rear adaptors to connect for the second seat. Please contact our customer care team to manually process your order for you (email@example.com or (02) 8287 8418. When you purchased your JIVE, we sold and marketed it only as a single pram. We since made modifications to the pram that allowed it to carry two children, while increasing the price with this new functionality. If you do not purchase the required rear wheels, the second seat will not be compatible with your JIVE.
