Special Note: The bassinet canopy clicks when being raised from the flat position. This can be silenced by pressing both buttons on the inside of the canopy simultaneously while lifting the canopy upwards.

Q: Is the JIVE² suitable from birth/ for newborns?
A: Yes. The JIVE² comes with a separate, freestanding bassinet included to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your newborn to lie in the fully-flat position while their spine and neck muscles are developing.

Q: What is the main difference between the JIVE² and the JIVE² Platinum?
A: Building on our signature JIVE², the JIVE² Platinum provides a unique, beautiful blend of considered, sophisticated design. Features exclusive to the JIVE² Platinum include the premium cross stitching on the bassinet, seat and second seat as well as the debossed leatherette handle bar and bumper bar in black.

Q: What is the weight limit of the JIVE² basket?
A: The JIVE² basket can hold up to 12kg.

Q: Can the JIVE² Second Seat recline?
A: No, the second seat cannot recline. The JIVE² / JIVE² Platinum is one of the most compact tandem prams available on the market, which we know our customers love. To provide this unique feature, we have kept the chassis size as small and lightweight as possible. To have the second seat recline, we would have to increase the size and weight of the chassis, which we know from research our customers don’t want. The second seat can now carry up to 17kg (the weight of an average 4.5 year old boy) and has more head room and foot space in the basket to comfortably seat a toddler. For children over 3 that are confident standing, we also recommend our Buggyboard which can be attached to the JIVE² / JIVE² Platinum single.

Q: Do you have capsule adaptors available for the JIVE² to enable a travel system?
A: Yes, we sell capsule adaptors for Maxi-Cosi (Mico, Mico Plus, Mico AP and Citi from 2013) as well as the Joie i-Gemm and Nuna Pipa capsules. We also have adaptors that are compatible with Britax Unity Neos and Unity Isofix produced from 2013 onwards (which can be identified by a sticker on the underside of the capsule showing ‘2013STD’ and also have pre-installed ‘click and go adaptors’). Please note that models produced earlier than 2013 and Steelcraft capsules are not compatible. The Britax adaptors are the same adaptors that you receive with your Redsbaby bassinet; however, they are also available for individual sale on our website. Adaptors are available in the METRO/JIVE range of accessories.
