My baby is sitting very low in the carrier, how do I raise their body so they’re ‘close enough to kiss’?

You can try the following suggestions: Ensure the baby is positioned correctly in the carrier by propping their weight upwards using your hands whilst still ensuring their legs are comfortably in the ‘M’ position. Position the carrier waist belt higher on your waist. Ensuring all straps are adjusted to support a higher seating position. Use the newborn configuration in the carrier. The recommended weight is 3.2 – 7kg for this configuration.

The buckles are hard to move, is there a way to make them easier to use?

The buckles have been designed to require a double action release. This ensures they do not accidentally become undone by knocking during movement or by your child. To release, press both sides of the buckle firmly and push downwards from the direction they are secured to unhook it from the fasteners. This can be done easily using two hands; One to hold the fabric with the fastener and the other on the buckle to support the downwards pressure.

I can’t reach the rear strap adjuster to put the carrier on and adjust it for comfortable wearing. What do I do?

We recommend adjusting the back buckle for comfortable wearing when setting up the carrier for comfortable wearing the first time you put it on. This can be done by adjusting the buckle and putting the carrier on to check for comfort, and then removing the carrier and adjusting and so on until you reach the desire setting. The buttons on the CONNECT Thermo Layer will be a tight to start with. They will loosen the more the product is used. The tightness at the beginning of using the carrier has been purposefully designed to ensure they do not loosen over time and disconnect unintentionally.

You can try the following suggestions: Cross back carry – Cross the shoulder straps over and then fasten the buckles at the side. Ensure shoulder and sides are fully adjusted. Ensure the waist strap is fully adjusted to the tightest setting – this involves overlapping the lumber support tab with the waist strap.
