The CONNECT™ Plus has two different coloured markers on the top of the carrier body where the shoulder straps secure to the carrier.
The same coloured markers are also located on the top of the shoulder straps.
Align the corresponding coloured markers on the top of the carrier body to the colour located at the top of the carrier strap.
You can try the following suggestions:
Ensure the baby is positioned correctly in the carrier by propping their weight upwards using your hands whilst still ensuring their legs are comfortably in the ‘M’ position.
Position the carrier waist belt higher on your waist.
Ensuring all straps are adjusted to support a higher seating position.
Use the newborn configuration in the carrier. The recommended weight is 3.2 – 7kg for this configuration.
The buckles have been designed to require a double action release.
This ensures they do not accidentally become undone by knocking during movement or by your child.
To release, press both sides of the buckle firmly and push downwards from the direction they are secured to unhook it from the fasteners. This can be done easily using two hands; One to hold the fabric with the fastener and the other on the buckle to support the downwards pressure.
We recommend adjusting the back buckle for comfortable wearing when setting up the carrier for comfortable wearing the first time you put it on. This can be done by adjusting the buckle and putting the carrier on to check for comfort, and then removing the carrier and adjusting and so on until you reach the desire setting. This will only need to be done the first time you put the carrier on and adjusted from time to time as your child grows.

The straps on the CONNECT™ Plus carrier have been designed to be as light and breathable as possible, removing all unnecessary bulk which is on other carriers. This means the straps have movement. The more you use and practice putting your CONNECT™ Carrier on and off, the easier you will find to align the straps correctly.
