It’s good to have options! When preparing for the birth of first child, it can be too much to think about second and third children at that time, but it’s also nice to know that if you do have another baby in future, that the investments you’re making now will last you through each new arrival.

For parents that already have children, are expecting another and are looking to upgrade their pram to a double or triple, it's helpful knowing that as your older children outgrow the pram, you can easily convert back down to a single.

The NUVO pram is our full-size double option, but you can easily start your parenting journey with the NUVO in single mode.

Why the NUVO:

Initially when you have your baby, you will set the pram up with bassinet fabrics, and then as your baby grows, you can graduate to the toddler seat fabrics, using the same chassis and seat frame.

The NUVO is a loved pram by parents of one for its spacious basket, four-wheel suspension, high parent facing seat for connection to your baby and its ability to seamlessly convert to a double pram if you have a second child.

If you become pregnant again, you can purchase your second seat for $279. This includes:

• 1 x seat frame

Once your second child arrives, you can place the bassinet fabrics from your original pram purchase onto your new seat frame. The bassinet then sits on the lower position of the NUVO, while your eldest child can sit at the top in their toddler seat (the same one you used in single mode.)

Then, once your second child outgrows the bassinet, add your toddler seat fabrics to your new seat frame to use the NUVO with two full size toddler seats.

Why the JIVE⁵:

In comparison to the NUVO, the JIVE⁵ has a smaller frame, and in double mode is a more compact option. This is perfect for parents that think they might only have the one child, but would like the option of a double incase things change. This is also suitable for parents with a larger age gap between their kids, who will only have a short window of needing to use the pram in double mode, meaning they don’t want to commit to a full size double as they may not get the use out of it.
