Our progress with sustainability
Today is Earth Day, a movement which aims to raise awareness around the importance of preserving our planet. It seems fitting to share with you the progress we have made with our commitment to sustainability. Over the past year, we have already achieved so much, ensuring we reduce our environmental impact where possible, and we are so proud of how far we have come to help future generations.
Reducing plastic packaging with our products
Since September 2021, we have reduced our plastic packaging with our products by over 95%, saving around 2.5 tonnes of plastic bags from landfills. That’s enough plastic to stretch over the length of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We’re still transitioning some products to reach 95% and aim to achieve this by the end of 2022.
We craft baby products designed to last for years to come
Since the beginning, our ethos has been to design quality baby prams, carriers and nursery furniture with enduring style, so they can last for years to come. We believe that when you buy better, you can buy less (the only true answer to sustainability). We carefully select our manufacturing partners who align with our ethos; They focus on quality production engineering with state-of-the-art equipment. And as a result, you’ll have products that last for years for your family and those to follow.
Sustainable materials are used across our range of baby products
We source sustainable materials wherever possible, including FCS certified wood, OEKO-TEX® and recycled materials across all our product ranges. Constantly looking for better alternatives, our material and manufacturing choices put sustainability before profit.
Happy Earth Day, everyone. Here’s to taking small steps toward making a positive difference for future generations. Head here to learn more about what you can do this Earth Day.
